Blood test results take up to two weeks.
We will usually send a text if they are normal and will certainly contact you if the results are abnormal
We offer test results for all blood results as long as we have an up to date mobile and you have not opted out of the service. Abnormal results will always be telephoned to you by a member of the team.
If your symptoms persist then please make an appointment to see the Doctor.
You may be able to get some test results over the phone, which you should call for between 09:00 and 12:00, although you may be asked to make an appointment to see the Doctor if they need some medical explanation.
Note that the practice has a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection and we will only release test results to the person to whom they relate unless that person has given prior permission for the release of this data or they are not capable of understanding the results.
