The Village Practice is a dedicated practice to its patients and staff. As the practice size gets bigger so does our team.
We employ a wide range of colleagues across multiple areas that all equally provide quality service including: doctors, nurses, pharmacists, health care assistants, first-contact physios, mental health nurses and so on.
Our administrative and management team comprises of around 13 skilful members, all from various professional backgrounds, in which 75% have all thrived and developed whilst employed with us.

SALARIED GP
Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated GP for 4-8 sessions per week, who shares our commitment to delivering high quality care to patients. We work with a diverse population but one of the most challenging and deprived communities in an area of high deprivation, and we are keen to serve our population in inclusive, caring and innovative ways.
We offer many options in our GPs being able to design their own roles. This could be:
- Portfolio/family
Already working for the LMC, RCGP or work part-time in an A&E? Have children or complex home arrangements? Discuss with us flexible ways of working, remote v. practice-based balance.
- Teaching option
We would love you to be involved in teaching and can help you build your medical education career. Depending on how many sessions you choose to work we can either offer one or two whole teaching sessions per week. Depending on experience and training can start with students and then we will pay for relevant courses and give in-house supervision as your expertise develops.
- Women’s health
We run coil and implant clinics and have a friendly supportive environment to either practice or progress or restart your LARC skills.
