Home Visits

homevisitsIf you are housebound or too ill to get to the practice you can ask to be seen at home. Please do not ask for a home visit unless you really can’t get to the surgery; doctors can see several patients in the time it takes to get to a patient’s home. In addition, when making home visits, the doctor will not have all the facilities or equipment available. Urgent visits will be done as soon as possible but you usual doctor may not be available.

Requests for visits should be made before 11am. Non-urgent visits can be arranged with your doctor with a few days' notice.

Telephone Advice

If you wish to talk to the doctor or nurse for telephone advice please phone the surgery and leave your contact details and we will pass them to the doctor or nurse. If it is non-urgent your call will be returned in the next few days.

You may be able to get some results over the phone, which you should call for between 12 midday and 12.30pm, though sometimes you will be asked to make an appointment with the doctor.
